WELCOME
“The Ombudsman is considered a symbol of a democratic state, the essence of everything the Government should do, i.e. increase people’s well-being, protect individual freedoms and supervise the administrative bureaucracy so that it treats everyone equally.” Gerald Caiden
Greeting Message
I am honored to greet you on the official webpage of the Center for Human Rights of Moldova. This is a virtual space that intends to provide you with useful, clear and objective information on the activities of parliamentary advocates, as well as on the fundamental human rights and freedoms.
In the context of duties of parliamentary advocates to intervene as mediators in establishing the dialogue between the authorities and the citizens, we realize the need to effectively inform, promote and protect the human rights in the Republic of Moldova, assess the situation in the field and identify the priority problems to focus our attention on.
In addition, by using the benefits of the means of communication, we will help you to identify the authorities, institutions and organizations able to consider or solve your problems.
Respectfully,
Anatolie Munteanu,
Parliamentary advocate,
CHRM Director
